I've enjoyed this thread as I used to enjoy the trio both with and without Chad Mitchell. Rich, your tale is quite familiar to me!!! I really wish I had both the book and the vinyl again. The first album my family ever purchased in the folk scare was CMT and some of the political songs were very much favorites of mine in the sixties. Billie Sol was really funny, but unfortunately now dated. Does anybody even remember who he was today? Oh well..........
