I've just been past there. I often get a salt beef beigel there. I say beigel (prounounced b-eye-gl) as that's the traditional East End spelling (although sometimes the second e was dropped). We also have platzels although I wouldn't have said they had anything to do with onions, more of a beigel with poppyseeds but less sweet?
