The version I do, Lonzo'n'Howard, starts off:

"Lonzo and Howard went ridin' out one day
They rode by yonder mountain to pass the time away"

They had seven robbers to contend with, six of whom they killed,
and then the woman stabbed Lonzo. I think the song was collected in Georgia, USA, in the 1950's.

sessions of his in Kenny's, Westland Row, years ago,
where I first heard his version of: Mammas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Into Fleadh Cowboys
