I don't think the term "troll" can really be extended to this kind of welcome posting, which gets people hunting for songs.

The fragment has the feel of authenticity. (I mean it sounds like it conmes from an actual song.) Clearly not too closely related to any of the songs that have come up so far. Maybe it'll turn up. Even if it doesn't, maybe more songs about mermaids might come to the surface.
