Local paper, the Lancaster Guardian, states that this year's Easter Maritime festival will be based at Glasson Dock so as to link in with Liverpool's maritime year.

How does that work? In the place of four pub bars and two hotel rooms and two rooms in the Maritime Museum we would have just two pubs.

And does anyone think that the Liverpool festival desperately needs help from Lancaster?

Sounds like another stealth atempt to kill off the festival.
