The big baby taylor is actually very well made and has an excellent sound for the price - plus a lovely neck profile. I'm not a huge fan of the normal-sized taylors but the BBT is made differently and really chucks out the sound. You'll always get a nicer more compact tone with a smaller guitar, but you do loose volume. One problem with the BBT and some other parlour-sized instruments though: The headstock is too heavy for the body, so on a strap (with the fulcrum at the upper strap button) the neck weighs on your hand, which is why I use martins for work. But the BBT is great on the knee and I write and practice on it.
