Oh yes, if you happen to see an older Guild around, that should fit into your price bracket and will do very nicely for blues and fingerstyle both. They're not exactly small-body instruments, but they're not outrageously huge either. Don't know what modern Guilds are like, but I've heard a couple of very nice older ones.

In general, consider that the more curvy "classical" or "jumbo" shape is usually better for fingerstyle than the dreadnought shape. This is a massive generalisation though, so use your own judgement, and your ears of course! ;-)
