I need to know this--sorry for the thread drift on this excellently informative thread about dish soaps--: If half of the population is above average intelligence and half is below average intelligence, then who the hell is Mr/Miss/Mrs/Ms Average? Can such a person be real? We have accounted for the entire population with 1/2 + 1/2 = 1.

I am so confused.
