For the Aussies:
There's a bear in there
And a chair as well.
There are people with games
And stories to tell.
Open wide, come inside,
It's Playschool.

No one has mentioned the Banana Splits have they?
One banana two banana three banana four,
Four banans make a bunch and so do many more.....
(Terry Pratchett is right, banana is easy to spell, it's just difficult to STOP spelling!)

Loads from Sesame Street. I always liked "Do the Batty Bat" with the Count.

Not from my childhood but my children's:
Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat.
Early in the morning, just as day is dawning
He picks up all the letters in his van.

Everybody knows his bright red van,
All his friends will smile as he waves to greet them.
Maybe, you can never be sure,
There'll be knock (Knock), Ring (Ring)
Letters through your door.

Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cat
All the birds are singing,
Day is just beginning,
Pat thinks he's a really happy man.

and:
Bananas in pyjama are coming down the stairs.
Bananas in pyjamas are chasing teddy bears.
------Can't remember-------
But on Tuesdays they all try to catch them unawares.

Love Lynne
