In the US, maybe, as tipping is expected by almost all professions (although I never see anyone on ER tipping their doctor or nurse with a $10), but in the UK, it's not really done. You can offer to buy them a cup of tea or give use of the bathroom but monetary rewards aren't usual and I suspect the AA would prohibit it.
