An educated Afghan lady campaigned for more freedom for Afghani women after the Taliban were defeated.
Two years later she revisited Kabul again and found little had changed. However she did notice that the women now walked 10 paces behind their menfolk as opposed to 5 paces behind on her previous visits.
On asking for an explanation for the increased distance she was answered in two words.
