Nixon should have ended the Vietnam conflict early in his first term of office .... the U.S. was already tired of that dreadful burden by then ... much like they are tired and burdened by the Iraq war as of now ... think of the lives he could have saved (American and Vietnamese).

No ... I certainly don't think he was a very good president at all.
