Thanks Bill D--I rely on you as a source of good free software (and excellent philosophy).

I get a daily (more or less) email from C|NET and read them about once a week if the headline catches my eye, but they're full of good stuff. They have a wide range of recommendations and lots of reader comments. http://www.cnet.com/ will get you into their system. I notice that the page doesn't display as well in IE as it does in Firefox. That tells you something right there.
