If Shane McBride ever took up boxing, he would definitely take the crown for "worst" over any and all competitors. However, that's not likely to ever happen. He's way too lazy to train...except for the occasional air guitar session when listening to Led Zeppelin or Metallica.

John Candy did a humorous skit on SCTV once where he posed as some famous boxer who was scheduled for "the big fight", and was expected by many to win it. 98% of the skit was devoted to a lengthy interview with Candy's character, building up the tension for what was touted to be possibly the greatest fight in boxing history. Finally the moment came. The bell rang, and the 2 pugilists advanced dramatically out of their corners as the crowd roared in anticipation. Candy charged forward aggressively and immediately received a right cross straight to the chin....and went down like a ton of bricks. He stayed down. For the whole 10 count. It was a heavyweight championship that took one punch, and that lasted about 11 seconds...including the 10 count. They milked the humor of this anticlimax for all it was worth, as the desperate sportscasters who had nothing else really to do at that point ran slow motion replays of "the punch" over and over and over again....and discussed it from as many different angles as they could figure out.

Never had so much sports world anticipation resulted in so little boxing! ;-)
