I'm interested to see Sam Langford (The Boston Tar Baby) mentioned favourably here. He (if my memory serves me well) fought Joe Jeanette more times than some fighters have fights in their entire careers. Chanteyranger I think I'd have Jim Corbett in there instead of Jim Jeffries, but thankyou for a great thread.
