wow i just got his album (the sweeper) from someone who got it for me off ebay wonderful folk blues - lost my copy 20 yrs ago - was on Kicking Mule and out of print. fired up the old B&O turntable, Marantz receiver and got it going on! He;s sort of a cross between Jorma Kaoukonen and Leon Redbone but also distinctly his own and I think exceeds Jorma's technique sometimes as well as exceeds redbones anachronism.
