Personally, I'd be mortified if I ever found myself in such a situation, rather than drawing attention to it. <<<<

Oh Joanruth for Gawd's sake...do stop with this one woman campaign of vitriol.

Look.....I told you that I thought what you said about Show of Hands that time was appalling. And I still think it was. You're miffed because I told you that on a BBC board. You organise Loughborough Festival I believe and to go on the BBC board and say what you did about ANY act would have been appalling in my eyes....no matter if you were a festival organiser or not. I am not into the BBC messageboard being used as a vehicle to 'put the boot' into various artists reputations. And as someone who works in the folk world I felt that you should have not behaved in such a manner.

It got up your nose...and since then you've been like a leech around me...

The BBC have 'accused' me of threatening their employees, I presume you've read my Blog about it over on my Myspace page. I have written to them to ask them to send me this evidence and I have also said that I would LOVE their Investigations Department to look into this whole business. I've been on that board far longer than you Joan, I know all the threads where this has happened, and all the posts are still there. I've been asking the BBC to sort this out for YEARS and they have done absolutely nothing!

They know, I believe, that in court they'd not have a leg to stand on in all of this. I am perfectly willing for them to take me to court over this or to get their Investigations Department looking into it, as I have been asking them to do for a very long time now. I am that confident about my behaviour and I know exactly what they have put in their emails too as I still have them.

You Joan, have no idea about all of this. So might I suggest, politely that you take you pompous attitude over all this away from me, as you've not a clue what has been going on for years or what happened recently.

The BBC choose not to answer my emails. I wonder why. I can assure you that they do not think I'm 'dangerous' as you so sweetly put it, other than they are running scared. Even one of their own hosts 'attacked' me verbally on their board for being someone I was not...THEN she checked it out and apologised profusely. It's all on the board still to this day, as are many other things.

I have picked up the BBC's gauntlet and I have thrown mine down.

They have not picked it up.
