Subject: RE: The BBC Board
No MacKenzie, that wasn't it at all actually. I think you need to read my post again. It was a question of intergrity. If the same thing had been said about George or anyone else I'd have reacted in exactly the same way, and that was merely to say that I thought it was an appalling thing to say.

Nowt wrong with that.

Why should I shut up? I am as entitled to my opinion as you are. To me there are ways that Festival Organisers should behave, which go above and beyond those who are not connected to the folk world in that way, although I'd have still taken issue with anyone who'd said that, no matter who they were.

I could of course, turn your post on its head and say that perhaps you should have 'shut up' too purely because I hold Show of Hands dear and you perhaps regard them as crap. But over and over you tell me off for my opinions, whilst I recognise that you have a right to say what you think. Joan can like or dislike whomsoever she pleases, but a BBC messageboard is not the place to put down words as she did.

Oh...and the BBC have just removed the thread about Ashley Hutchings too. With details of where you go to sign the e petition for him to have be given a knighthood for his services to music and dance....

They have also removed posts on the Rainbow Chasers and Bollin Morris too. Why? Because I dared to pop over and write some things about folk music on their board...get it moving a bit for them...

I made it easy for them to spot as I called myself 'Shesoverthere' ;0)....and needless to say, along came a cute little moaning minnie...."Hello Lizzie" ...and then zap zap zap....

Still I guess that the Moaning Minnies would far rather score points over me, than let anything be written about folk music wouldn't they.
Sums them up entirely. Nasty, small minded, vindictive little nobodies basically....who'd far rather that no artist or musician was supported by someone they despise...

And you think I should 'shut up' MacKenzie?

On yer bike Laddie....
