The best thing I ever did regarding banjo was to buy one of Rick Fielding's banjo mutes. Maybe Heather still has some. It makes the beast sound like a soft Dobro. Not that Frank uses it very often...

Thanks for the friends requests! I'm having fun with this myspace thing. Our number one friend (number 2 son) is currently touring with a rock band called The Broken West (also a friend), and in fact they were in Dallas last night. He's playing keyboard with them and trumpet with the headliners later in the tour. And to think I wanted him to be a rocket scientist when he grew up. Still time, I guess, if they still have rockets then.
