Auxiris: Very interesting that someone has come up with additional lyrics to Hard Times! Don't let anyone give you the proverbial brown smelly substance about it. With in fifteen years of Foster writing HArd times the Civil War soldiers had come up with parody lyrics for it and entitled it Hard Tack. As to the O'Carolan song Turlough O'Carolan was quite prolific and it is very possible The Morning of Life is one of his. I will follow the thread to see if anyone else has any infor on this.
