Lizzie, I'm confused ... if someone is an event organiser - or programmes a venue, do you feel that shouldn't have the right to have an opinion about a performer - on or off duty?

As far as I'm aware, Ruth hasn't been on here pushing anything professionally. I don't think she has even really mentioned Loughborough. She is using a nom de plume. This is a past-time pursuit, so it is reasonable to assume that the posts here contain her own personal opinions which may, or may not, coincide with those she expresses professionally. It also suggests that she wished to be separate from that role, when on here. There are many reasons why this might be.

Or, do you think that event organisers should have no outlet for chat in a forum such as this?
