Changing strings once or twice a week seems excessive to me. I try to pracitce almost every day, but I change them only once a month, usually just before the monthly song circle.

Phosphor-Bronze strings tend to fade very fast, but I like the 80/20 Bronze better. I think they are more consistent and have a warmer tone. Give them a try, and let us know what you think.
