Thanks Marion, our travel agent is looking out for places for us too. We think we have found something suitable but still need to confirm.

Folk events: all kinds! I can dance and like contra, and I sing. Himself won't dance (because of a dicky knee) and doesn't sing, but enjoys listening.

Personal security: We may have a two by four in the back shed, but in case it upsets the customs folk when we land we will probably leave it here. We may be able to obtain one from son. Shall we bring our own nail? I'm sure our rusty nail tetanus is as good as yours.

Vegemite: I send the huge jars. That child was brought up on the stuff as was I, although his father lets the side down by preferring peanut butter. Every Ozzie kid learns to sing the Vegemite song at an early age.

Should you see a short bearded smiling Ozzie by the name of Doug Richards roaming around East York, that's my boy. Don't be frightened to speak to him, he's housetrained.
