If my history teacher could only read this after all these years.

Fort York. Referred to as Old Fort York, currently known as Toronto. When Toronto amalgamated with the surrounding municipalities(70's), East York, North York, Etobicoke, Agincourt(sic)Scarborough(Scarberia)and others, they became The Greater Toronto Area, The GTA. It's a reference you'll hear often when watching news on the TV or listening on the radio.
There are places that are just ouside, some consider part of, the GTA like Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Mississauga that are a little more laid back. Toronto's subway system is closely linked with these areas and you can be right in the middle of the city within minutes. From the farm to the frying pan in about 1/2 hr.
