Towards Eternity


Against all odds the creature stands
Recording deeds of men
Those hidden from all human eyes
Revealed with strokes of pen

The list is never ending for
The wrongs of men are great
Take heed and change those evil ways
Before it is too late.

For when at last we leave this life
As darkness takes our sight
Let each one search his soul and ask
What did the creature write?
