Lizzie - the comment Ralph made about recording a gig being illegal was in response to an anonymous Guest, saying that they had seen something on your myspace site, about your review of a Bob Fox gig, including a comment that you'd wished you'd been recording it but had forgotten your taperecorder. It pointed out that doing so wasn't considered the done thing at all.

That post was removed - presumably because it was anonymous guest - hence Ralph's reply (explaining that recodring gig's is not just 'not done' but is, in fact, illegal, is now out of context.
