Wow! I disappear for a couple of days and suddenly there are something like 80 messages of welcome-thank you all very much for your warm greetings; and I was nicely surprised to see so many people from this neck of the woods.

I'm a new returnee to the folk scene having been playing electric guitar on the Dark Side for the past few years. I've sort of lost track with what's been going on. Acoustic guitar was always my first love since I started playing way back when everything was in black and white. I never really listened to much traditional folk and my mentors were people like Roy Harper, Al Stewart, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Diz Disley, Ralph McTell, Noel Murphy-all the usual suspects!

Currently I'm working on an acoustic duo project with my best, and oldest, friend with some original material and songs from Planxty, Richard Thompson and others. The next thing I need to do is hunt out suitable venues for the Elderly Brothers...or it might be Airport Convention; we haven't decided yet.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome,
Toodle pip

Andrew
