Thread Name: The BBC Board
Subject: RE: The BBC Board
Lizzie, I think you see yourself as a campaigner, a misunderstood, persecuted, almost Messianic fugure. You can't seem to get this idea out of your head, so you believe that everyone is persecuting you. If you would only listen to what people are trying to say instead of accusing us all of being bullies and Moaning Minnies, it might be possible to have a reasonable exchange of views with you. But anyone who disagrees with you is, you believe, bullying you so we get nowhere. If only you could step back and think about your own behaviour.

Lizzie, it isn't just coincidence that so many people who enjoyed your contributions have now turned against you. I was one of those people who bought the PJD CD because you raved about it. We joked about it at the time. Can't you think about your own behaviour? You weren't expelled from the BBC board because of your views - you were suspended because of your obsessive and quite frightening behaviour.

I don't think anyone on this board, or the BBC board, dislikes SOH. We AREN'T glad that 'Roots' didn't win the award for best original songs (I wanted 'Steelos' to win but I like 'Daisy' - another political song - have you listened to an interview with Karine Polwart?) - it just didn't win on the day. There is no doubt that SOH feel very deeply about social issues, just as you do, just as we all do. Mostly I'm indifferent to their music but that doesn't make me a bad person.

I post under my own name on both boards yet I never feel that my family is in danger. Never occurred to me! I don't, however, write about my family's concerns/education/dyslexia on the boards because I respect their privacy. You can't use the boards for publicity and then complain that you're being harrassed.

I'm not following you about the boards - I've been posting on here for years. I would like to say that it's not a good idea to carry out an illicit relationship on the Internet. It's quite easy for people to find out what you're up to.
