FIVE SPICE RED BRAISED DOG

1 dog
400 ml dark soy sauce
150 ml light soy sauce
2 tablespoons 5-spice powder
150 ml rice wine
50g sugar

Garnish

2 tablespoons chopped spring onions
1 tablespoon ginger, chopped

Blanch dog in large pot of boiling water.
Combine ingredients and bring to boil
Turn down heat and add dog
Cover pot and braise for 2 hours
Remove dog, let it cool and chop into bite-size pieces.
Sprinkle garnish and serve.
