Curmudgeon, I'm right with you. It's like a traffic accident: you know you shouldn't look, but you can't help yourself. I've never looked at the "BBC boards", as they're not terribly relevant to my Canadian folk experience, whereas Mudcat is. It reminds me of the time an irate lady knocked on my door, stepped into my house, and began berating me regarding some completely incomprehensible incident. Turns out she was at the wrong house.
