I first saw/heard Valdy perform in 1974 or so, at a very small concert in a lounge in the student residence at Carleton University, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I have since heard him in various concerts & folk festivals over the years ... his music reflects his life story & changes.

I have a reasonable collection of his work, some with transcriptions on the covers, but none on my computer/ready to post. Have look unsuccessfully for websites with his work, & have been told by various people that he himself does not have a website of his own.

I'll see what I can do about Simple Life, but it may be a week or so before I can get to it ... are there any other particular songs that you are looking for?
