David sings exactly the way he talks. He played a concert in my living room (a few years back) and stuck around to jam with the audience afterwards. He sang harmony on one of my songs, and on one of his own (letting me lead). He's an absolutely honest, generous, and straightup guy. He has an accent, and it's not very broad, but it is entirely genuine. I think I MIGHT agree that he chose not to lose it as he grew up in Canada, rather than saying he affects it. 'Cause he don't do that!
