I don't think it's likely that Bush will pardon Libby if he loses his appeal. But then I think he'll actually win the appeal. Main reason appears to be that he was denied expert witnesses regarding "the science of memory"--and the case seems to boil down to poor memory--which many of the participants seem to have had.

If anybody has solid evidence that this is not the case, I'd like to hear it.

I think the whole thing is a sideshow--the real emphasis should be an exhaustive study of just how the Bush regime carried out its Iraq propaganda campaign.
