Wonderful guitars........but you need to be careful which series to buy. The top of the line Stanford Artist 5, 10 and 20 series made by Furch in Czechoslovakia in Europe are comparable in terms of quality, build, tone etc to Martins, Gibsons etc. All solid woods. Some may say they are even better.

I don't know about the Performer series from Asia.
