Captain Birdseye, "my local instrunent repairer refuses to touch chinese or far east guitars. " Whyever not? Can you explain "problems with the action rising"?

Obviously, I own a guitar made in China, and after a year, have had no issues with it. It seems to be well made, everything works as advertised, nothing is loose, twisted, or rusty, bar the player.
