I think it ought to be reversed and we ought to set the clocks forward in the winter. Daylight at 6:00 a.m. is a total waste--anyone who doesn't have to be up is still asleep, and anyone who is up is headed to work or to school, where they won't see the daylight, anyway. So kids have to wait for the bus in the dark--they're almost walking home in the dark, anyway. They're not even using amost of that morning daylight.

I'm surprised the anti-obesity faction haven't jumped on this since it makes it hard to be outside after school/work when it's pitch black out by 5:00.
