Thanks chaps.. knew we could rely on you lot... and thanks to the Mudelf who shifted this below decks.
How can I describe Bob? He was the sort of bloke that, if he came downstairs in the middle of the night to find his son and college friends playing strip poker, would join in the game. There are many photos of him in various costumes - the Tate and Lyle Sugar Lump man, Old Mother Riley, it looked like he spent half his social life in a dress.
He grew up in an area and an era which produced the Kray Twins and Stephen Berkoff, did his National Service at the Tower of London and became a cabinet maker/shop fitter. He was first and foremost a Gentleman, a fine craftsman and a good and loving father.
