...foxes ain't all that social with people and when you see them it's usually because they are rabied... A rabied fox will come around people...

What you see as acting old may indeed be indicative of rabies...

Now I love all God's critters, even possums, but this guy may be bad news...

Feed him, water him but don't go near him...

...plus call yer local extension agent and ask thenm about yer fox...
