Just a note re the horses mentioned, if anyone needs help with horses abandonded/roaming etc, please do not bother the RSPCA, as far as horses are concerned the RSPCA are a total waste of space. The Blue Cross are far better equipped and dedicated, as are the ILPH. We've been involved with horses, both rescued, competition and as pets, for over 40 years and I wouldn't waist the price of a phone call on the RSPCA.
