I suppose they have to eliminate as many variables as possible, because otherwise the differences in score could be due to some instruments being clearer or more audible than others, or something.

Incidentally, my second daughter has just done the test and says her score didn't appear, even though she was looking out for it. Did you ever get yours, Scrump? and did anyone else not see their scores?
