I was at Ghyll Head a few times in the late 60's, there was a group of us from the "Noel Timpson" youth centre, which was also run my MEC.
The folk connection is that we sang folk songs there, also any other place we went. It was a really great place, although a bit of a walk to the pub down the road. I will try to contact some old friends, I won't be there as it's an even longer walk fron Ontario Canada.
