I went to Nashville one tiome when I meant to go to Memphis -- or maybe it was the other way around. What it was, was, we were taking our driving instructions from a memory of Paul Simon singing "Graceland", but we remembered the lyrics wrongly and ended up in Nashville singing "Poppa sang bass, Mama sang tenor...." to the rollicking good cheer of a second-rate country band. What we had meant to do was to see Graceland and think about Elvis.. This is a true story, and it is only here amongst my MOAB brethren that I have the courage to recite it.
