Too much nice weather and not enough rain is causing widespread drought here in Oz. Yes, it's easy to look at a bright sunny day and be happy about it, but we've had so many of those that now we look at heavy rain when it happens and feel pleased - genuinely pleased - about that.

Of course, the ideal would be to have bright sunny days and lots of overnight rain - but the weather seldom cooperates in that way :-(
