Thank you, Andrea and Ruth for taking the time to come here and share with us. Somewhere, I think it was Big Mick, who posted an old saying about sorrow shared being halved. I am sure it doesn't feel that way right now, but please come and "ramble on" all you need to and I hope that the sharing will help lessen the sorrow as time goes by.

Your Ian sounds as if he was a remarkable person, of a remarkable family. It is good to know he has left you in a position of being able to help others. How beautifully your souls shine through in your caring about others and wanting to help them.
