Kat, I could not disagree with you more. Mrs. Edwards said in a national news story that this election was too important to lose. She wants this likely as much or more than Mr. Edwards. These two people are a rarity in politics nowadays. They both have the integrity to make an excellent President and First Lady. Think of the courage and sacrifice they are both exhibiting to do for what they think is right. They are putting themselves second to the citizens' need to have the first decent, honest politician in the White House since Mr. Carter. The difference is Mr. Edwards can govern where Mr. Carter could not. The Edwards' are intelligent dedicated public servants who will put the citizenry first; they are the essence of what it means to be loyal public servants. No one in the presidential field from either party can come close to them in integrity and dedication.
