ddw, go to the top of your browser and click on Tools, then look for Internet Options. Buried int here somewhere is a setting for cookies. Yours in probably set to never accept them. You can change it to always accept or prompt before accepting.

It used to be easy to find to change the setting, but I just downloaded and installed the newest version of IE and had to really hunt in the Internet Options for them. Finally found them under Security, then Custom Options or Settings. (Sorry can't remember which.)
