There's is something that some of you don't understand about living with someone with Stage 4 cancer and that is, simply put, the intense desire to leave a footprint...

Fir Elizabeth Edwards it's the campaign...

In my case, when my wife Judy was dieing of breast cancer, it was a song we wrote "Youngstown NIght" about her childhood which we recorded and put out together.... And I mean, together... She was on medical leave from Xerox in Leesburg but still had access to the training center and we snuck in several nights to use the color copiers and other stuff to make the cassette covers and we made over 200 casettes and sent them out to her family and friends... And this, with her totin' around an oxygen bottle on a small hand truck so she could breathe...

So, okay, there is a part of Elizabeth Edwards who wants to leave that footprint... But there's a part of her where she just wants to ***live*** each day, as most of us should want, and there's a part of her that has always been her husband's closest advisor... She is a pretty smart cookie when it comes to stuff and he seems to need her smartness...

I read today that he would practice his closing agruments in cases he was litigating in front of her for her critique... That, in itself, say alot about his respect for her intellegence...

Now, of all the Dems runnin' for president, I think that John Edwards is the only one who I would vote for because I like him but with that said, part of my vote goes to Elizabeth because she is so much a part of who he is, how he would react to adversity, how he would cut through the crap and make good decisions for our country...

I'm just praying that she responds well enough to treatment to allow John to be elected and for the two of them to serve our country from Jan., 2009 to Jan., 2017...
