   The non-stick coating adheres to the pan by a combinationoof chemical and mechanical adhesion. Chemical adhesionis achieved through specially developed primer systems and the mechanical adhesion is bt grit blasting. The primer systems contain some PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) so that during stratification takes place which bids the primer,immediate and topcoats.
