We haven't had one of these great parties in well over three years and we're finally planning another one this spring for Saturday, April 22 April 28, 6 to 10 pm. Here's a link to the last party thread as a general introduction or reminder for those who were there: 2003 China Sea Shanty Party

You are cordially invited to a grand potluck/nautical singing party on Saturday, April 22 April 28, 6-10 pm, co-hosted by China Sea Marine Trading Company and Roll & Go, at the Bunker-Bondroff Estate in Gray, Maine. Bring musical instruments, food, beverage of choice, nomadic furniture, and tents if you prefer to stay over night.

Anyone else you know who might be interested in participating is welcome to attend but please notify me so we can keep track of numbers. Storytelling as well as singing is also welcome.

Do dress in layers because we never know what the weather might be like in late April.

Directions to 229 Portland Road in Gray:

The little town of Gray is about 30 minutes North of Portland just off the Maine Turnpike (Exit 11 unless they've changed the number again). Once into "downtown" Gray (don't blink), take a sharp right onto Rt. 100/26 and proceed about two miles and keep a sharp lookout to larboard for a "Blue Peter" flag, an old red cape farmhouse with ajoining barn, with a cannon or two in the driveway. You really can't miss it.
