The drug dealer belongs to a large powerful drug cartel .... On the day of the incident he was smuggling around $1m worth of drugs into the U.S. ..... Sutton, the prosecuter knew about this when he gave this guy amnesty. It was also known during the trial of these border guards that the 'smuggler' also imported another haul fo drugs into the U.S. (again worth about $1m) during the time he was giving his incriminating evidence to Sutton.

There are also some evidence that the word came out from Washington to nail these 2 border guards hard ..... to appease the government of Mexico.

I guess these are reasons as to why it is a travsety of justice.
